The Milling and Grinding attachment was composed of several parts which could be built up in different configurations. The basic unit consisted of the 20,000 rpm Quill (V8) and its swivelling holder (M56). Fitted together in this way the assembly was known as the "live-spindle PM9".
In this picture, where a short internal taper is being ground, the PM9 is also fitted to an Adjustable Bracket (PM20) with the whole assembly (of the three parts) being listed as the "Grinding Attachment V10".
