Kärger plain-turning lathe as sold prior to circa 1918 - and fitted with sliding headstock spindle chase screwcutting

Lightweight round leather rope "gut" drive as used on light-duty lathes of this type until the 1920s (and in some cases for longer….)

For dividing purposes the front face of the largest headstock pulley was drilling with 12 circles of indexing holes


Karger precision plain-turning lathe as sold during the 1920s
