	A rare Wolf,Jahn lathe of the plain-turning precision bench type, the Model DD Approximately 3.5" centre height and 15" between centres it was built in several forms

	The headstock and its plain, adjustable bearings were, for a small lathe, of great size and strength.

	A distinctive design of compound slide rest was used with the long travel top slide having its feed screw off-set to the left (once a common feature on precision bench lathes) and the cross feed screw passing through two end plates.
