Comprehensive and beautifully illustrated multi-language Instruction
Manuals are available for both the UWG1 & larger UWG2 models.

UWG 1: Engraving linear scales using slip blocks and dial-test indicators for accuracy of marking

UWG 1: When used for grinding, the Hommel was fitted with flat-belt pulleys and employed a special, smooth-running silk-fabric belt; the usual speeds obtained on a 50 Hz current were 4460, 5800 and 7750 rpm.

UWG 1: A rather more sophisticated set up than the simple hand operation shown above with the rotary table being used to assist in the grinding of a hexagon nut.

UWG 1: Surfacing grinding with the aid of a miniature electro-magnetic chuck. By tilting the head, grinding at an angle was quickly and easily accomplished without the time-consuming bother of resetting the workpiece

UWG 1: Finishing grinding a drill

"Eierlegende Wollmilchsäue" or, literally translated,
