One of a series of high-quality engraving and die-sinking machine made by Deckel since before WW2, the GK series was of the modern, heavier type, able to be used as an engraver, profile milling machine and die sinker. It was also available fitted - as the Model GK21A - fitted with  an optical scanning unit that, ingeniously, allowed work to be done directly from a drawing.
