Cazeneuve "Universal" hydraulic copying (tracer) attachment that mounted on the HB500, HB575 and HB725. The unit was able to perform both longitudinal and traverse copying and was available with a variety of toolposts including a special high-accuracy 4-way type. A mechanism was incorporated that allowed a finish cut to be taken immediately after roughing was finished without having to remove or adjust any component.
Each unit was scaled for the particular lathe with slide travels of 96, 96 and 134 mm for the HB500, HB575 and HB725 respectively together with a common slide speed of 3 metres per minute

Multiple V-rope drive from motor to spindle

The headstock spindle was housed in a sleeve housing that ensured both a very high standard of alignment
and the facility to remove it and return to the factory for any necessary refurbishment

Micrometer carriage stop and the special metric-pitch thread-dial indicator

Chip Guard

A multiple-swivel light unit was available that bolted to the rear wing of the saddle

A special extended chuck backplate was used on the "semi-gap bed" lathe to
avoid the saddle overrunning the gap when working close to the chuck jaws


	A slim, "Toolroom-type" hardened steel faceplate with circles of tapped holes. This unit allowed the maximum gap capacity to be used

Standard compound slide rest assembly with a rear-mounted T-slotted cast-iron block carrying a pair of toolposts for parting off and forming work

For ease of maintenance, the main switchgear was mounted on a handy, swing-out plate

Taper-turning unit - a quick-set type that was engaged and released by simply turning the knurled ring fitted to an extension of the cross-feed screw
