Almost certainly made in France, this backgeared and screwcutting lathe is reported to have two leadscrews beneath the bed - one providing a slow feed to the carriage, the other fast - with the lever below the front face of the headstock switching between them. The owner reports that combining this mechanism with tumble reverse allows a slow cut followed by a fast return.
