The three photographs below show a lathe by A. Fielding of Keighley, England. It's design would seem to put in the late 1930 to early 1950s and the model is a "Swan"  71/2'' centre height, swing: in gap 23", over saddle, 10", admits 5'-2" between centres. The all-geared headstock had 8 speeds from 10 to 380 rpm with the spindle running in Timken Roller bearings and associated shafts supported in ball races. A Norton-type quick-change gearbox was fitted that gave  32 feeds from 16-224 cpi
