Although an example of a watchmakers' lathe branded with the name Picard has yet to be found, the writer has received this very interesting message that provides some useful background on the Company: Sir, I am an admirer of your work and I want to take the opportunity to, again, thank you for that monumental site, lathes.co.uk that you have built. In your "List of Watchmaker Lathes" (https://www.lathes.co.uk/watchmaker) you include Picard (Henri Picard et Frere), I think I might have relevant pieces of information about them. Henri Picard was a member of a large family of watchmakers, from La-Chaux-de-Fonds. It seems his company devoted itself to making and sell watchmaking accessories, and they are still in business...in Surrey. https://wiki.grail-watch.com/index.php/Henri_Picard_%26_Cie - http://www.picard.co.uk I don't know if Henri Picard & Cie were makers of lathes but I think their relative, Theodore Picard, was the one who created and produced the Dracip lathe that you briefly describe in your website. "Dracip" is the anonym of "Picard", and Theodore used it not only in the lathe, but in their watches. For more information about Theodore Picard: https://www.judaisme-alsalor.fr/synagog/hautrhin/g-p/hegenh/horloge/tpicard.htm I found these facts (or just clues?) while searching online for some photos of the Dracip lathe. It seems they were quite popular in their time but I have not been able to see one, just these two illustrations:
