Still available from the 600 Group in the UK (phone: 01924-415000 ) the German-made Parat is a competitor to the likes of the Swiss-made Multifix, the British "Dickson"  (with its dovetail clamping system), the American "Aloris" piston type, the compact Swiss Tripan.
Unusual in being able to take a maximum of either three or for tools at once on its central block, the Parat can be indexed into any one of 40 positions and is made in four sizes together with a wide range of toolholders. Full details can be found in the illustrations below.
