Myford ML7 Photo Essay
Myford Home Page

A set of high-resolution pictures showing a superbly restored and near-perfectly original 1952 Myford ML7 Serial No. K 22034 with spindle clutch and retrofitted with a screwcutting gearbox. It was supplied by D.Drury  & Co. Ltd. of Johannesburg, South Africa to Mr. Jan P. van Bommel then living in Durban. In 1961 Mr. Van Bommel returned home to Holland where he used the lathe for, amongst other things, to assist in a very high quality restoration of an early Lorch, Schnidt & Co lathe.
If any reader has an original, fine-condition Myford Super 7 of any vintage that they could photograph in detail, the writer would be pleased to hear from you.
