Enshu Milling Machines - Japan


Established in February, 1920, the Japanese Enshu Company are still in business and today have subsidiaries in the United States, Germany, Thailand, Indonesia and China.
With headquarters at 4888, Takatsuka-cho, Minami-ku, Hamamatsu, Shizuoka 432-8522, Japan, the Company is currently (2016) involved in a wide range of engineering related activities involving foundry work, machining component parts for motorcycle, snowmobiles, golf carts and similar vehicles and the manufacture of machine tools and accessories including jigs and fixtures, rotary tables, robot loading and tool magazines, ATC mechanisms, chip conveyors, loaders, hydraulic, pneumatic and lubrication components, flexible transfer systems, specialized machines and CNC machining centres.
During the middle decades of the 20th century the ambitions of Enshu were rather more modest with, during the 1950s and 1960s, one staple line being range of conventional milling machines, some of which are shown below.
