Seldom found in such remarkably original, lightly-used and unmodified condition, this early (circa 1912) Drummond 5-inch "double-height" bed was restored to (light) productive use during 2010.
Over the years a number of changes were made to the drive system but, when self-contained, used a large flywheel-cum-drive pulley carried inside the cast-iron headstock-end plinth.
