Chard 20" Multi-Speed Engine Lathe with raised headstock, toolpost and tailstock for 26" swing. No screwcutting was fitted to this particular machine and the feed rod was driven through a three-speed, semi-quick change gearbox. The tailstock was powered by a pneumatic pump, with foot control.
