	The cross and vertical slideways were of ample proportions

The vertical head was built with an integral, 12-speed gearbox with its selector controls conveniently arranged on a front panel.

	The table-feed gearboxes were built as self-contained units.

	Nickel-chrome crown-wheel and pinions.
