Almost certainly the unit supplied "to special order" by the American agents for Wade CAV, the Gerold Company of New York City, the two pictures below show a small top slide that has been skilfully fitted to the milled-down cross slide of a Wade. This useful addition would have made the lathe very much easier to use.
