The basic housing of the Eccentric Chuck mounted on the lathe spindle.

This insert is carrying the peg which hold the ball-and-socket joint assembly.
In the picture the inner drum is set on a zero mark to run the chuck on the spindle centre line with zero offset.

The same assembly as in the picture above - but with the housing rotated so that its setting produces the maximum amount of eccentricity.
