4-station turret for cross slide mounting
A super-precision turret, capable of indexing to within 0.0001" and based on the design of that used on the Hardinge Chucking machine turrets. The main body of the unit rotates on  pre-loaded angular-contact bearings with the indexing and locking shaft also ball- bearing mounted .

The unit, mounted on the cross slide and saddle top, incorporates a 0.0001" dial indicator with over-run protection.

Micrometer carriage stop
The micrometer barrel can be seen bolted to the leading edge of the saddle - whilst the adjustable bed clamp also carries a dial test indicator. The unit is designed to assist the turning of exact shoulder lengths and facing to close tolerances.
