Plain Cutter Grinder for single lip engraving cutters.
The maximum collet capacity was 1/2" and the grinding wheel  4" in diameter by 2" wide with a 25/32" bore. The motor was a 3-phase, 0.25 hp, 2800rpm.
The cutter to be sharpened was held in a collet mounted on the end of a swan-necked arm. The arm was able to be swung about a graduated swivel, which could be locked in any position.
The whole of the cutter unit could then be pivoted about a horizontal grinding arm support bar which itself was finely adjustable "left and right"  by a micrometer screw with its operating wheel on the left-hand end of the machine.

The Toolroom cutter grinder was built on the same base as the plain model, but incorporated a double swivel on the base of the cutter holding unit.
An additional slide was also offered which gave the main work head an offset motion for grinding radii not central to the axis of the cutter. The maximum size of cutter which could be held in the collet retainer was 15/32".
The motor was a 3-phase 1/4hp 4500 rpm - and the whole machine weighed 84 lbs.
